About instructor, Theresa Hall…

Welcome to my home/studio! I am a mother of two, now college-aged, children.  I have taught children in Sunday school, in preschool classes for the USO, and at community centers.  I have taught art classes in museums and in my own home - teaching both elementary aged children and up, and also homeschool groups.  As a big sister to six siblings, I grew up playing teacher to my not-always-so-willing student/siblings!  Later, I decided to major in art education at Grayson County College and Southwest Texas State University – and then interior design at the The University of North Texas.
I especially enjoy sharing my knowledge and excitement of art with children.  My goal is to give them a creative outlet, further their artistic skills, stretch their imaginations, and have them learn something new in a different way.  I can’t wait for you to see what your child is capable of creating, and how much they will enjoy doing so in my studio classes!  My classes are designed for each individual child - whether they are just beginning art classes or they are already wonderful artists/painters.  I meet each child where they are at, and help them further their talents and creativity.  I LOVE teaching art, and seeing those smiling faces on my young artists as they create!
